Scoutbook parent email attached to scout

When our local council assigned a new scout to my unit they used the parents email address for the scout account. So now I cannot add the parent to scoutbook because the address is already in use. The scout is new and has no email way to login. How can I remove the scout’s email so that I can add the parent?



You cannot remove the Scout’s e-mail address. If you post the Scout’s BSA Member ID (no names) we can delete it for you.

Please ask your Council registrar not to put adult e-mail addresses in youth records. As you have seen, it causes problems.

I removed the e-mail address from the Scout’s account.
