I actually have many issues occurring that are limiting the ability of my Den Leaders, Parents, and success in the scouting program. It seems like the sync between the old and new are not working like they should be. For the sake of my convenience i have created the below list to start mitigation of these issues.

Perhaps some of this roots from issues in my.scouting.org position manager

  1. There are two chartered org reps when there should be one, COR should be: 111165050, COR Should not be: 9203198 This prevents me from managing the positions within the pack.
  2. 9203198 should only be Executive Officer
  3. User: 13683056 has a listing under Scouter Reserve, should be Webelo Den Leader, is listed there too but that ID shows expired, does not show in roster. Has already renewed (Multiple membership with Troop 240 of the same council)
  4. 140125228 - This is my id, I am cub master, should be COR Delegate, Listed as Key 3 Delegate, when i go to remove that i get an error “Not Found”

Scoutbook Plus - issues for leaders

  1. 14233948 - AOL Den Leader, listed as den leader, can only see her own children, not the remaining members of the den. Trying to remove / re-add to den getting error on remove / save (see image below)
  2. 13941523 - Bear Den Leader - listed as den leader, can only see her own children, not the remaining members of the den. Trying to remove / re-add to den getting error on remove / save (see image below)

Scoutbook Plus - Issues for parents

  1. Scoutbook / Scoutbook Plus / Scouting App - not matching in requirements met.
  2. Seeing Old versions of advancement requirements listed in Scoutbook/Scouting App
  3. Errors when entering adventure requirements met (some individuals)
  4. Two of my parents used the same email to register their 2 children under their own accounts. I can not add them to the other sibling. Scout IDs: 141047322 and 14717598 Parents IDs: 140127574 and 14717599
  5. Logging into advancements initially gave ability to create a shortcut to the app as a app icon on mobile phones. How can we make this option occur again, I tried it and the link did not get created. It worked in the past but got deleted from my phone.

my.scouting issues talk to council

14233948 - is not assigned to a den and is not den admin

13941523 - is fine - would be best for her to log in to forums for a screen share probably

The user is not listed in Available Adults. If i try to remove i get the error shown in the image earlier on the Save action.

my.scouting.org issues - I have talked to the council for the last several months… Who do they contact?

another note on the Den leaders is to make sure they have the top right drop down marked right

Steps:

  1. Login advancements.scouting.org
  2. Sort roster by group
  3. Edit AOL
  4. Remove leader
  5. Save
  6. Error message

Second attempt (since user was only leader)

  1. Add myself as a leader
  2. Save
  3. Attempt removal of 14233948
  4. Error
  5. Attempt to remove myself
  6. Error
  7. Now can not remove myself or the other user. same error as above.

Should i attempt similar in Scoutbook.scouting.org

Context selector - Top right - Have done that as well, they either don’t have it or it is already selected.

Glad to do a screen share if it would help, calendar is clear until 16:00 ET

Any update on these issues?

If they can’t fix the issue, Scouting employees have the ability to enter a member care ticket to receive further support.
