I have a Scout that I can not get any Eagle Palms entered with. He earned his Eagle and Approved back in October. Just did his Eagle BOR. He is 17 Yoa. I see it as a “pending” award, but no entries allowed. Give an error message “error something went wrong try again”. Should have several Palms available for entry.
@LutherSolomon If the Scout just did his board of review, then you most likely need to wait until his Eagle Scout rank is approved.
If he just did his BOR, he didn’t earn Eagle until now. You will not be able to enter the Palms until after Eagle is approved then the date should be the BOR date.
He earned it and it was approved on 10/23/25. I never completed entering his Palms. Was getting to it now. Problem is now it won’t let me enter. Yes, he has lots of merit badges. System just will not take the entry.
Try double-checking the Eagle Scout date of rank in Scoutbook Plus.
What happens when you try to enter the palms? Are you getting an error message? What is the Scout’s Scouting America Member ID (no names)?
ID #130747425. Now it tells me to check requirements, however there are no requirements listed. He is eligible for 2 bronze, 2 gold, and 2 silver palms. It now says youth is not eligible for this award. He earned Eafle on 10/23/25 full approval in system. He is 17 yoa. He has plenty of merit badges. Not sure what the hang up is.
I have passed this on to the developers for investigate but please confirm the date you are using for the Palms is 10/22/25. This is the date in the DB of his Eagle rank.
Please also note this Scout has only earned 45 MBs so he is only eligible for 4 Palms, not 6. This would be 2 bronze, 1 gold and 1 silver.

That is correct. 10/22/25. I have tried that date and several others after that date to see what could be done.
