I have scouts that were end-dated back in February. This weekend, they were added back to my roster (as unassigned to den) but show as expired. The system should not be re-adding scouts that have been removed from the roster and end-dated based on request from Parents.
Another scout (who I was waiting on payment for to re-register) has been removed from his DEN, and reassigned to no-Den.
On 9/29/24, the BSA extended all memberships that expired on 7/31/24 to 8/31/24. This happened after the Scouts were removed due to the end of the 60 day grace period. When they were placed back in the unit, they were not restored to their sub-unit because the registration system does not know about sub-units.
All of your Scouts were affected by this extension. They now have until 60 days from 8/31/24 to renew. None of the families have started the renewal process.
We have previously asked the developers for a better way to denote scouts who have left mid-membership since adding an end date often does not stick as you experienced. We do not know when or if this will be implemented.
