I have a scouts who’s first class advancement progress was wiped clean. This was noticed several weeks ago. Last time we asked about this council said just be patient it’ll update eventually. Well it’s been weeks and it still isn’t where it was before. It’s completely empty. How do we get this restored?
Since Scoutbook plus doesn’t seem reliable, We are trying to manually re-enter records, but now keep getting an error. Message just says error.

IF I was guessing - the scout was on an older version of first class - take a look at that. All scouts should now be on current versions of all ranks
I suspect because this Scout was on 2016 Second Class when he should have been on 2022, that this Scout has records on First Class 2016. I can only see what is recorded for First Class 2022.
I see dates for several First Class 2022 requirements. I recommend switching the Scout back to First Class 2016, writing down the requirements that were completed, moving back to 2022 and entering the completion dates for the corresponding requirements.
We noticed that also. But it’s not clear how you fix the issue cause as soon as we start typing errors out.
Are we supposed to re-enter all the prior requirements under the new term?
Go to the Scout’s First Class rank in Scoutbook Plus and change the version to 2016. Write down the completed First Class requirements then switch the rank back to 2022 version and enter the completed requirements from 2016 that are not complete on 2022.
Unfortunately at this time there is no automated process to migrate requirements from one version of rank to another.
All Scouts should have been on the current (2022) version of First Class as of January 1, 2023 and the system will no longer allow you to enter requirements for a previous rank version.
I have a similar issue with a first class scout whose requirements version is stuck on 2016 and the system will not allow it to be changed. His advancement date is wrong and it cannot be changed. All of his requirements are blanked out, yet the Scouts BSA History Report shows dates.

You are not able to change the version because it is showing as Approved by BSA Administrator which typically means the Council entered the completion. Try removing the Approved check box, and saving the rank then switch to 2022.
I see requirements completed for both the 2016 and 2022 versions.
When I remove the check box and save, it just returns with the check mark there. I believe the 6/18/25 date is when the records were transferred from Scoutbook to Scoutbook Plus.
What is the correct rank fate?

@GaryBuchmann does the BOR have a date?
His BOR date for First Class was 5/14/25. When I view his advancement in Scoutbook Plus, everything is blank as it is stuck on Requirements Version 2016. When I viewed his Scouts BSA History Report just now, all his requirements for First Class are there with dates except the BOR which is blank. Yesterday, the Scouts BSA History Report was only partially completed and there was a date of 6/18/25 for the BOR.

The developers have removed the completion and approval but it will take 24 hours for it to be reflected. After that you should be able to move the Scout to 2022 version of First Class and approve it with the correct date.
The completion date is still there and it cannot be changed.
@GaryBuchmann can you change the BOR date?
When I enter the correct date of 5/14/25 it changes to 7/31/22 and does not update. Likewise if I try to change the final completion date. I cannot change to the current requirements version - it is stuck on 2016. All the requirements are blank, but when I view the BSA History Report everything is there.
I notified the developers again.
