Dad wants to create an account for his scout in Scoutbook. He is following the steps: clicking on scout’s name=>edit info => scroll to the bottom of the page but it looks like the scout’s email address is already entered. We can see it in his personal info in Scoutbook Plus. However, the scout doesn’t appear to have an actual Scoutbook account.
How could this be resolved?

Just to confirm, as far as I can see the scout has a my.scouting account and a BSA number, the dad wants him to connect to Scoutbook and have his own account so that he can receive the troop emails sent via Scoutbook. Is this still the way to go?
If the scout has their own my.scouting account, they should be able to login to Scoutbook with those credentials.
ETA:…assuming that the BSA ID on the my.scouting account matches the one in Scoutbook.
BSA # or email have nothing to do with logins - you can post BSA # and we can see if a login exists yet or not

@DiyanaMiriyala The password reset usually works best by using the chatbot (“Betty”) at my.Scouting.
