Send message to Den does not include all parents

When I try to send a message to my Den in Scoutbook, I have one parent who does not show up on the parent list. I searched in the forum and found another tag along this line, but when I tried to update the parent, as noted in the previous thread, it did not then bring up the parent as an option to send to him. When I run a den and pack roster, the parent shows up on the roster, but does not show up at all on the message list of adults.

Try resetting the parent connection to his Scout. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Pack Roster page.
  2. Click on the Scout’s name.
  3. Click on the parent’s name.
  4. Make sure the Parent/Guardian box is checked.
  5. Click Update.

I did that for the second time and it did not fix it. I did try and edit the profile, and got a message when I tried to save that his email is used by another user. Maybe this is the problem. Do not know why that is the case as his wife is not listed as an adult/parent. I have contacted him for another email address.
