It sounds like there’s some sort of bug, although it might only peripherally be related to the fact that there are Eagle-requited badges filling all six slots. For Star and Life, Eagle-required badges can fill those additional merit badge spots if they are earned first. If there are elective badges that were approved earlier, can you please specify which elective badges came earlier and which Eagle-required are later.
@SusanGarcia there is no published timeline. But the more info we can get as examples only helps. Post the Scouts Member ID # (no names) and a detailed explanation of what you are seeing.
Thanks- Scout ID 133269347. I thought I had already added his Star rank in Scoutbook. Now he is with Scoutbook Plus, and it is not converting properly. I need to mark Star completed 8/12/24, but it will not let me. The system is not recognizing the non-Eagle required MBs he completed and is using Environmental Science and Citizenship in the World. It should pull over Fingerprinting and Leatherworking as the 2 optional.
@SusanGarcia these are known bugs that are being worked. You will be able to back date once fixed. If you need it for a COH or something Council can enter date for rank in their system
