I’m trying to initiate AOL Transfers from the Pack to their new Troops using the Transfer feature under Roster. I am the COR Delegate (functional role) for the Pack, specifically so I can help with these types of activities.

I was able to perform the transfers last year using this feature, but this year the feature does not show up. I have verified with my Council that the recharter has been completed for our Unit. I have also verified that other units in our district have been able to use the feature recently.

The unit is Pack 0013, Iron Horse District, Circle Ten.

I am also not sure that feature was there last year - I made a handout on it in July 21.

I think COR Delegate is relatively new. Not sure when they added it.

COR Delegate was around last year, but not at recharter time (i.e. early 2021), IIRC. I remember seeing it sometime during the spring, though, because we discussed adding one of our scouters (who was doing a lot of CO interfacing for a while) as COR Delegate.

I used this feature very heavily last year to transfer out all of the AOL’s last year.

But now that I think about it, it might have been when I was still Cubmaster and before I became COR Delegate.

But should this work for the COR Delegate since the intent for the functional role was to delegate their capabilities?

It think it probably should. I have reported this to the my.scouting team.

Well it might be delegate the stuff that is COR specific - not K3 things.

Is there a list of the differences between the two sets of “stuff” somewhere?

The other two K3 members aren’t as tech savvy, which was one of the reasons I took on the COR delegate responsibilities to continue to help the Pack when I handed over Cubmaster. So would be good to know what I can and can’t do as a delegate.

@SeanS - i seem to recall that @RickHillenbrand may have posted the grid of access… i will need to dig around…

That grid is outdated but it’s in the Technology for Commissioners document in an appendix.

It would be very helpful to have them update it and communicate it. Things like the COR delegate are great features, if we know they can do.

The effort spent to program features is wasted if we, the organization, can’t leverage it to deliver the program with less effort.
