Transfer problem, Adult Transferred, Youth left behind in a pack in another State!

Hello!

First post, I moved from MD to Northern NJ and am trying to complete my transfer in scoutbook. I was able to get transferred to my new pack as a Tiger Den Leader, but it left my sons in my old pack. I no longer have access to do anything but view their accounts and in Myscouting, their applications no longer show up. When I try to build a new application for them, Myscouting tells me the council must take action and I don’t have permission… I called council and they don’t know what to do about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

@JohnathanHardin go to my.scouting.org - Sign in - Click Manage Member ID - Switch to 14115837 as Primary - That will connect you to CH and GH in the membership system to get them transferred - if it works you will need to have new council add you with new BSA # to their Relationship Tab in Registrar Tools. Also you will need to switch back your MID to regain new council access.

That worked, I called council and they asked me to bring in paper registrations. She didn’t know what the relationship tab was.

Did you talk to the registrar? Rather common knowledge

@JohnathanHardin they would use the same process to add you as parent if it was a paper app or online - they type it in at the same place. If you already did it online and the unit knows to accept that part is good
