Two accounts using same email

Since January I have been getting the below notice:

“Warning, another user is using the same e-mail address. If this is unexpected, contact your local council or post to the Using Scoutbook Forum.”

I am a Den Leader but since the error I lost den leader permissions on scoutbook. Scoutbook says I’m pending acceptance but I cannot accept the position due to the error. Tried going through the local council but they said they cant help.

Please log in with your my.scouting username – not your e-mail address.

I would recommend asking your local council to use their Registrar Tools to look up your children. In the “Relationships” section, they should make sure that you are listed as parent under BSA member number 14268055. They should remove you if you are listed as parent under any other BSA member number.
