Two different ID #s, one email address, only one profile

My husband and I have two different scout ID numbers but used just one email address when registering our children in Scouting America. When my husband logs into his account (different username and password), MY profile opens up. My husband is not attached to our child or the troop (he is an adult member). I have attempted to add him as an additional parent, following the prompts in the pop-up window, but I am receiving error messages, stating that I do not have access to make the change. We now have two email addresses to use, and need separate accounts as he is an adult member of the troop.

The troop has attempted to help us sort out the tangled accounts, but they are unable to assist us. Is there live tech help available?

@MarisaGubbins Should your husband’s e-mail start with the letter “d”?

yes. Yesterday I was able to add his email to my account, so he is now receiving emails from the Troop, but my husband does not have his own account. When I log into my account, the pop-up states “relationship verification needed” and asks that I contact the other parent/guardian to add me to my son. With both parents incorrectly on the same account, we cannot verify the relationship. I have our scout ID numbers, but would prefer not to share them in this public forum.

can you assist us?

@MarisaGubbins I sent you a private message.
