Two Scouts are now missing from Scoutbook Plus roster

Two Scouts (142175796 and 142175800) have been on our Ship’s roster for a couple of months, but now they have disappeared. They are multi-registered and their Troop is in another Council, if that makes a difference. I can still see their names in the my.scouting roster. I’ve tried all reset fixes to no avail. Council can no longer help me so suggested I post in the forum.

@StephenNieman I have requested that a new Scoutbook account be created for them in your council. They should be created overnight. Please check back again tomorrow.

Their names are not on our roster, but unfortunately none of their many achievements followed.

I have requested an advancement sync. Please check back in 24 hours.

If it was done it didn’t take. I still don’t have access to their advancement records.

@StephenNieman Are the Scouts pursuing their Scouts BSA advancements with the troop in the other council? Or with your ship?

They are Life Scouts looking to finish Eagle in their troop. They have been advancing in the Ship as well and I approved a number of requirements until they disappeared from our roster.

I see some requirements marked off for Apprentice and Ordinary. Not sure if there is anything else.

Yes, that is correct. All of the approved requirements were for the Apprentice and Ordinary ranks.

Yes that came through. However, it occurred to me later that their father, (member ID #13482406) also needs to come back onto our roster. He’s on our committee.

@StephenNieman - you might want to remove your cell phone number from this public forum

@StephenNieman that user and MEmber Number are registered in Ship 610 - but there is some issue with the registration you need to talk to council on - the registration is not in the Current Status

@StephenNieman Because the user is registered in two councils and has multiple Member IDs (MIDs), completing SYT under one MID does not automatically update the other MID(s).

I have fixed the training issue for this user. The SYT completion should appear on the other MID(s) within 24 hours. If the user does not reappear on the ship roster within 24-48 hours, he might need to contact the local council for assistance.

For future SYT renewals, after completing SYT, the user can complete this process on his own by logging in to my.Scouting.org and using “Manage Member ID” to make each MID the primary MID, one at a time. Each MID should remain the primary MID for approximately 5-10 minutes before switching to the next one. The user should not log in to Scoutbook Plus while doing this process. The SYT completion should appear on the other MID(s) within 24 hours.
