We found out when (in June this year) our new scout’s account was being set up, there was a typo made in the parent’s email address and the parent wasn’t receiving any communications from the troop all this time. I went in this morning and fixed the typo (under Edit profile), so the parent was able to receive the invite to connect to his account that was generated. But probably because the account was actually created back in June, the system used the email with the typo as the login (plus auto-generated password) in the invite email. The parent is hesitant to connect to his account because of the typo still existing in the login. What is the best course of action here? BSA Member ID140961383.
TIA!
@NadezhdaAnikeev Have him try creating a new account (username) at my.Scouting, but he should not match with his already existing BSA member ID number - he should create a new one. Afterwards, we can fix.
