@ChristineCies - I would let the SUAC weigh in on the issues first. They may be able to provide some insight and perhaps assistance. There may need to be some clean-up done.
Thank you for all the time you have spent on this. How do I get the attention of the SUAC people?
@ChristineCies - they monitor the forums, but since I am an early riser and I had to go in to work to re-image my workstation I figured I would respond to gather info.
@ChristineCies yeah looks like a few things that do not make sense - I think your MBC just renewed and your new Committee 1423. Problem there is they have the wrong ending date, they should match your existing dates, council needs to fix that.
On SB I think you should be all sorted about - may take 24 hours for the server waves to settle
Yes, when they added MBC position, I was given a 2nd MID with a different renewal and everything went more wonky. I was working with them and they said it cannot be folded into my main but i will pursue. Maybe just fixing that renewal date will help.
On the plus side, I can now access my Cub Scouts so this immediate problem is fixed! Thank you very much
That’s odd. My MBC registration is on my primary Member ID, so I know it can be done, at least within the same council.
Glad to hear things are getting more closely aligned. Good luck getting the expiration date squared away with council.
They made a mistake creating a 2nd MID. They cannot fold the new ID in. I am hoping they will just add MBC to the 1st id and delete the 2nd.
They typically can’t delete the second Member ID, but frequently can correct erroneous information (e.g. middle initial used instead of middle name, misspelling, etc) then put the secondary ID under management. That said, whatever solves the problem and doesn’t create a new one, right?
@ChristineCies They can’t delete the second member ID number.
Please ask your local council to use their Registrar Tools to look up your children. In the “Relationships” tab / section, they should remove you as parent under the secondary MID. You should only be listed as parent under your primary MID, the one ending in -799. This will help to prevent future issues, such as the creation of duplicate Scoutbook accounts.
