Hi Jennifer,

I have a question in scout book. In the Leadership position section for “position of responsibility for ranks.” one of my son would show up and the other does not. Please see attached pictures. Any help to fix the one that’s not showing up is greatly appreciated.

@Chau_TamSisterman Your younger Scout is currently Second Class, so he is not showing up on the chart yet. His positions of responsibility (PORs) will show up on the chart after he makes First Class rank, because PORs are not required until the Star, Life, and Eagle ranks.

Hi Jennifer,

It’s the second picture that is not showing the POR and he’s my oldest who is in life rank right now.

It’s not showing the same thing as his younger brother account.

Any help/ suggestions is greatly appreciated

@Chau_TamSisterman - the person icon i think is the key. Only one position can ve the default. The PL needs to have the slider set to turn its default off.

On your older Scout’s Leadership page in Scoutbook, click on his past Patrol Leader position with the icon that looks like a person. When you click on that past Patrol Leader position, try turning the default position slider off. You might need to temporarily remove the end date to get the default position slider to show up.

@Chau_TamSisterman - the image will be removed again as you are not obscuring the name properly. You need a solid mark out

Hi there,

I went in and fixed the person icon for PL, logged out and logged back in. It removed the person icon for PL but it still is not showing “Positions of responsibility for ranks” like my younger scout and scouts in the troop for 1st class, star and life ranks.

@Chau_TamSisterman - i think perhaps a screen shot of the ranks page for this scout, or at the very least the BSA ID.
