I am unable to add merit badges to our now Venture Crew members. Only one crew member is still earning badges as the rest have earned Eagle and their badges were complete prior to the Troop becoming a Crew.
Following the advice from previous now closed similar topics, I went into this scouts account in scoutbook.scouting.org and under “edit extended information”, slid the toggle for Scouts BSA Advancement to the right. It turns red but there is no way for me to “save” or “update” this and once I leave this page, and return, the toggle is to the left again.
The scout member number is 129702184
I am the advancement chair for the crew. I am also this scout’s mother and am listed as his parent. Could this be causing an issue?
@edavignon I tried that, it turns red, but do I need to save or update that change? There is not a way for me to do that and when I leave the Edit Extended Information page and go back to it, it is toggled to the left again and not red
@JenniferOlinger I have turned it on. It turns red but should there be a place for me to save the change? Once I leave the Extend Edit page and return, it is not on.
