I am unable to award Totin Chips or Firemn Chits. When I go to the individual scouts, those awards are not listed as options to award. When I try to use Quick Entry, I get the following error:
I’m assuming your permissions have been updated based o the new permissions structure for SB+.
My usual first step is to try:
- Forcing a reload of the page
- clearing cache/stored date for the *.scouting.org sites
- Checking scout registration status in the my.scouting roster.
Thank you. Yes my permissions have been updated and I have been able to update ranks and merit badges without issue. I tried the three suggestions but am still getting the error message. Our Scoutmaster has also tried and had the same problem. I have also tried different browsers.
All of the scouts are new to our troop and are listed as Current on our roster.

Firemn Chit and Totin Chip
I get the error message in Quick Entry. When I try to add it for individuals those awards don’t show up at all (other awards do but those don’t).
One of those scouts now shows as having the Firemn Chit, but not Totin. The Quick Entry now gives me a different error saying this should not be recorded.
There seems to be an over arching issue with Awards and Quick Entry - it is being looked at - watch change log for any update
I’m having similar issues. 140717839, trying to quick award the totin chip. My Committee Chair just updated my permissions (last week). I’ve tried refreshing. Scout is a fresh arrow of light so should be registered. This applies to many other scouts but i am using this one as a test case. I can manually add them scout by scout, but hoping to do them in batches.

I was trying to enter it in quick entry, and just added it manually where i went into each scout separately. should i pick another scout as an example? This was more of a permissions/access/process question. THANK YOU!
@JamesKotora well it messed up data for DEVs as they thought it was already entered. If there is an example giving the same issue you can post
