Unable to delete duplicate parent account

I also need help removing 2 parent accounts from my scout.

@SondraWilson if they are wrong people your council can remove them using VST - if they are duplicate accounts we might be able to help

They are duplicates of mine.

@SondraWilson that is fixed - you might need to log out - I recommend that you contact your local council and ask them to use the Registrar Tools to look up your children. When they look up your children, they want to check your children’s “User Relationship” and make sure that your children are connected to you as parent with your correct BSA member ID number

I was wondering about that yesterday as neither of us parents saw we connected in my.scouting to 1 of our scouts. One of a long list of issues we had a from someone not knowing how to do recharter correctly unfortunately. Thank you for help and it is fixed. Now to get rid of the someone is using the same email message.

The parent relationship has nothing to do with recharter

Can someone help me clear a duplicate parent account from Scoutbook? The duplicate account has already been deleted at the council level and just needs to be removed from Scoutbook. It won’t allow me to Delete Account because the parent checkbox is greyed out. BSA ID is 140907425.

@JimmieTalbot I have merged this user’s Scoutbook accounts.

Please contact the local council and ask them to use the Registrar Tools to look up his child (or children). In the “Relationships” tab / section, they need to remove him as parent under his secondary BSA member ID number: 140907425. He should only be listed as parent under his primary BSA MID: 110148749. This will help to prevent future issues.

Could someone please help merge/delete extraneous account from a parent, member ID 137138429 that seems to have created a duplicated parent account, but the second one does not have a number assigned and simply says “undefined”

@NickHainsfurther They have 2 different first names. Which first name to keep? The one that starts with “A.”? Or the one that starts with “N.”?
