What is up with entering merit badges in scout book plus? I have a scout that started camping merit badge in 2023 . If I try to enter a completed requirement the date can’t be later than 2023. If I toggle the date to 2024 then it won’t show all of the requirements that are completed before 2024. No one has time to toggle back and forth between years to enter things. Plus when a scout starts a badge and there is an update they are allowed to finish using the requirements they started with and not the update.
the bad dates are a known issue and being worked - requirements have never flowed between versions but that is a long story that was been being worked on for quite some time. Watch the change log for updates

same issue here. I have several scouts that finished their “expired version” camping MB at a camping trip last weekend.
Also not sure how to find the change log and tbh don’t really have time to monitor it. Why was this update pushed when it clearly wasn’t ready?
This is a known issue. The developers are aware of the problem and are working on a fix.
One note on this - Earning any version of a MB is all the same - versions are only seen in Scoutbook Platform - no where else. and once earned it is earned. So if they are finished a future version could just be completed, if it is partial requirements, you will have to wait for the fix.
Wirh the old scoutbook you clicked the year/version and were good to go. This new version will not let you stay with the version they started with. When marking things that are now complete . There needs to be a way when marking new completed requirements that the other stuff already done can show up as completed. Currenting it says started in orange and that’s it.
