Unable to generate purchasing report

I am the advancement chair for our Cub Scout Pack and I can generate a purchasing report. I can get to the needs approval and needs awarding reports. But when I click to the needs purchasing report, nothing happens and it goes back to my dashboard. The needs purchasing report is probably long, but should be similar to the needs awarding report which seems to be working fine.

Any idea why this is happening or if I’m approaching it wrong?

Your Advancement Chair and Unit Admin roles were ended on 2/5/21. A Key 3 member of your unit should go to Organization Security Manager in my.scouting.org and restore your Unit Advancement Chair role there. The next day your access will be restored in Scoutbook.

Ok, thank you for your help. Wonder how that happened, must have been an accident.

This happens to all committee member roles every year when your recharter is processed.

Functional roles such as Key 3 Delegate, Unit Advancement Chair, and Unit Training Chair expire at the end of each charter year. One of the unit’s Key 3 needs to log in at my.scouting and use the Organization Security Manager to re-designate the functional roles.

I had heard there was some plan to fix this? Will that be tried again next year?

If not, Internet Rechartering has the ability to pick these roles for people. We would just need that to be honored after recharter.

If we pareto’ed the support posts, this may be second or third to duplicate accounts.

Yes. It was supposed to have been fixed already unfortunately the positions were already deleted after the latest fix was applied.
