Unit Advancement Chair can't remove Merit Badge Counselor connection

I am my unit’s Advancement Chair and assign merit badge counselors to scouts. I need to change the counselor assigned, but when I go to remove the current counselor, I receive two error messages:

  1. Your position(s) and related permissions do not allow you to perform this action
  2. User is not authorized to access this API

Is this not something I can do as Advancement Chair? Seems silly to be able to assign a counselor but not reassign a counselor.
