Unit renewal payment stuck in "Transaction pending" state?

Has anyone had any trouble getting My.Scouting to process their unit renewal payments? Our pack and troop have both had an issue where we go through the unit renewal process, submit payment, and get stuck in a “Transaction pending” state. Our council hasn’t been able to figure it out, and I can’t tell whether they’ve gotten any answers from national.

I noticed that the last time I tried to submit our pack renewal payment an error flashed on my screen very quickly when I clicked submit, but the error disappeared so quickly that I couldn’t take a screen shot or read the whole thing. All I saw was “HTTP GET….”

Any ideas?

National’s already canceled out our first attempt at submitting payment, so hopefully that won’t be an issue! Good point, though.

@ThomasUlrich - I had several unit paid renewal orders pending payment since the 21st of November. Today I decided to remove the existing ACH connection and re-submitted payment and they were successful. So it appears that the the ACH method needs to be updated by the unit perhaps on an annual basis.

Interesting. We have a card on file (not ACH), but maybe we should try the same thing (remove and re-enter card). I’ll give that a try. Thanks!

@thomasUlrich Is this the error? I’m getting the same thing. was using a credit card on file, but also tried entering it again. Unfortunately, I’m also not able to delete the batch.

There was an issue with all Scouting America systems this morning that appears to have been resolved. I recommend trying again.

I just tried again and it didn’t work. I went to settings and it will not let me add or use a credit card.

Then that is a contact council issue. The teams that handle my.scouting.org and recharter only accept bug reports submitted by Council staff.

Yup, that’s the one!

Our payments started processing correctly early last week. I think there was a backend certificate issue that finally got resolved.

Yeah, ours finally cleared last week as well. But not before a panicked couple of days when our credit card disappeared from the system and we couldn’t add it back in.
