I’ve tried renewing my son. I entered in a VISA card that happens to be expiring next month. I went to renew his membership and it wouldn’t go through due to an internal error.
I wondered–maybe it’s because of that expiration date? So I went to update the card. However, when I bring up “update credit card” the pop up that comes up (I’m working on a laptop) doesn’t allow you to fill in the address/state/zip. So, it won’t take the updated information!
Maybe I just need to wait a couple days and try my VISA again, but the inability to update to a new credit card is important. Especially once my VISA expires.
Unfortunately, the only folks who can submit bug tickets to the national folks regarding my.scouting and the renewal system are the council staff. Please contact your council staff to ask them to submit a MemberCare ticket to national with the information, so they can push for a resolution, either to your specific issue and/or any underlying issues that are there.
