Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
Good Afternoon! : )
I have a youth registered in 2 Councils with 2 separate BSA ID#s. Our Council tried to merge his accounts so all of his advancement/camping/service/etc from his primary Council showed on both of his SB accounts instead of only on his secondary SB account. I’m not sure what she did, but his primary SB now shows almost everything, but his secondary SB account is gone. I can’t add his other Council information into his primary SB acct (gives me errors). The 2 units in his secondary Council can’t see him - he has disappeared from their roster. When I try to find his secondary SB account via his member ID, it says it can’t be found. He has 2 my.scouting accounts - one primary in Quivira (where he should be primary) and 1 primary in MidAmerica (where he is secondary) because my.scouting wouldn’t show all of his units or share all of his information between my.scouting and both SB accounts. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
His member IDs are –
Quivira - 127107709
MidAmerica (he has 2 for some reason) - 14465800 and 14837321
I understand the 1 number per account - that’s why he had 2. Now the second account is gone and his other 2 units can’t see him. The unit he has left to advance in is the Ship, but it’s part of the secondary Council and SB won’t let me put that in his primary Council account. We were told in a merger string on here to make him a second my.scouting account with each my.scouting having a different primary - 1 primary Quivira, 1 primary MidAmerica. I’m so confused. We need his second SB account to track his Sea Scout stuff in MidAmerica.
@SarahBoothe I will send you a direct message > look at top right Avatar to find it > it will be a green dot with a number 1 > it will be a private message channel with select members of the Scoutbook User Advisory Council (SUAC)
