Youth to Venturing Participant in a Crew

If a member of a Venturing Crew is currently registered as a Youth, but has turned 18, their position will be Venturing Participant, but what is the correct Member Type – Adult or Participant? A Member Type of Participant charges the Youth-level fees.

Does the Youth on the roster need to be removed, and then that person added back as a New Member with an uploaded BSA Adult Application?

There was a commissioner update on recharter yesterday where promotion to adults is acknowledged and supposed to be coming soon. I would expect it would do the same basic stuff behind the scenes.

Ok, because currently attempting to re-add the youth participant as an adult results in an error: “Position is not allowed to multiple”
