2 Scouts in my.scouting roster disapeared from Scoutbook

I have 2 scouts that have disapeared from Scoutbook all of a sudden. They are still in My.Scouting Roster. I have read in other topics that they need to be Re-Synced. Is this something that can be done through here? Member id’s are 140833156 (removed by Moderator), and 140833167 (removed by Moderator) THANKS Lou

@LouZambuto I have requested a position sync for both Scouts. They should be back on the pack roster within 24 hours.

@jenniferolinger could I request your help as well? I am the Cubmaster and am now missing from Scoutbook all of a sudden. We also have two children who are now missing from Scoutbook, one of whom is an AOL that can’t be transferred to their new BSA troop. Member IDs are 14119178, 14119183, and 14119177. Thank you!

Your regsitrations expired on 10/31/24. You will need to get all 3 of you registered to appear on rosters. Your son with first initial G is registered through 8/31/25

I checked on Scoutbook, and it indicates that registration for 14119183 and 14119177 began on 7/21/2024 and ended on 1/31/2025. The note says “AkelaSBDeltaSync as Expired with Lapse.” Is there a three month lapse period before the account expires?

Yes, there is a 3 month lapse period. I looked in the membership database. All of your registrations ended 10/31/24.

Did they just renew their registrations today?

They registered on 12/31/24.

@CarmonHarwood Please contact your local council for assistance. They might be able to fix the registrations or they might need to submit a help ticket to National.

We had three cub scouts dropped from Scoutbook. All three were dropped two different times while all were registered and on our my.scouting roster. I got them back twice using my own Scoutbook account. They just reappeared the third time after a few days. My theory is that it’s a programmer problem connected with the merger into Scoutbook Plus.

@JamesLamb Please post the Scouts’ member ID numbers, and we can take a look.

We have not had problems recently, and have told all our Dens to use Scoutbook Plus

I have a similar problem. Scout ID 137360566 is in Scoutbook Plus and my.scouting.org but not in Scoutbook.

I see this Scout on the Scoutbook roster. Please try a hard refresh of your Scoutbook roster page.

It took me a couple months to discover this web site. How do you hard refresh the roster?

The Scout was set as an Adult - I reset a sync to see if connections show up

Actually, after looking at this more, this appears to be a connection problem. For some reason the Scout does not appear to be connected to anyone in the ship. Since you are the Skipper, you should also be a unit admin but I don’t see that role on your position list. I need to research this issue.

Go to Legacy Scoutbook unit > Roster > Click your name > click ship Admin > click Update - see if that solves it
