Scout not syncing with myscouting roster

I have 2 scouts on my roster that are renewed and paid, but are not syncing on scoutbook. They both say: “scout name” has not been matched with a scout in your units official roster. please check with your council.
BSA ids : 135121468 and 136493161
I have received no response from my council. is there a fix to this? I can not update any advancements, leadership or merit badges for these 2 scouts.

Have you tried resetting their memberships in Scoutbook?

In Scoutbook (legacy):

  1. Go to the troop or patrol roster page.
  2. Click on their name.
  3. Click on [Scout]'s Membership.
  4. Click on the Scout’s patrol membership.
  5. Make sure the box is checked next to “Position Approved”. [it should already be]
  6. Click “Update” to save.

Yes I have tried this. I even unchecked the position approved and rechecked it. I can try again.

I have 11 scouts that are in My.Scouting roster who do not appear in Scoutbook. This has been going on since the end of December. Is there a way to force a sync from My.Scouting to Scoutbook. Thank you.

@JeffreyTyler you can post BSA#s with no names and we can look

They are in our My.Scouting roster (total 53 scouts) but not in Scoutbook (total 42 Scouts)

Sorry, I was so excited I got a response, that I misread your response for no names.

@JeffreyTyler I will take a look - but the first few say you ended memberships in Scoutbook on 12/10/24 - I will resync ones like that - that will take 24 hours

Yes, they all should be that way. They are Lions, but somehow, in their individual records they showed as Tigers, therefore could not give them Lion advancements. I tried to “fix” their individual status as Tigers but could not without removing them. I thought that they would resync within 24-48 hours… not so. Thank you so much.

@JeffreyTyler ok - they will come in Out of Den - an Admin can Edit Den to add the Scouts to Den in advancements.scouting.org

@JeffreyTyler Scouts only sync in when a change is made on Registrar side - so if you get rid of in Scoutbook on your own they will not magically come back in

Gotcha. Like I said, should have could to you first before I created more of a mess. The den leader apparently did something to all 11 of them between the first and second advancement she was trying to add. I waited until after the pack meeting to try to fix it. Lesson learned. Thank you again. I will look for them in SB in the morning.

I have a scout in my.scouting that has dropped off of our Scoutbook roster entirely and I’m not sure how to get him back.

Hello

We have a scout (135883241) in our troop who keeps being dropped off the roster. Renewal was submitted for our troop in December. Scout’s “Date Ended” field keeps populating even after being deleted. We are seeing “DateEnded by SP ExpireInvalidYouthUPsCreatedinSB after 3 Month Lapse” populate into the notes after each instance; typically with the same day the “Date Ended” field was cleared. Any help here would be appreciated.
