Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
One of my parents has had issues getting logged in and managed to create multiple accounts. He has been doing training under this ID on my scouting: 141189887 so we want to make sure we keep that, but the ID for the profile connected to his son is 141493988.
Can we get these accounts merged? Keeping the first as the primary. We don’t want him to lose all the training he’s done.
@Chris.Peterson I have put both member ID numbers under Manage Member ID at my.Scouting.
The local council will need to fix his parent / child “Relationships” using their Registrar Tools. Right now, he is “Son of” his child, which can cause problems.
@Chris.Peterson Now it looks like the Relationships are backwards, where the Dad (MID 141493988) shows as “Son of” the Scout (MID 141097843), and the Scout shows as “Father of” the Dad.
I asked our registrar to fix it because you said that’s how it originally was. I can’t even see the dad in Scoutbook any more after her update. She said it would sync overnight.
The Scout’s name is properly recorded in the Scoutbook database. Have you tried accessing his profile after logging in to an Incognito or Private window? I’m suspecting a cache issue.
