@AaronLaird that is fixed
Thank you very much!
Can this be fixed for me, as well? I am getting that same error. I am the parent of a scout. Thank you,
Noelle McCall
@NoelleMcCall this is done
Mine is giving me the same error message. I am trying to transfer my scout to another pack but the new pack canāt find him even with his scoutbook ID number. I contacted my old pack and they said they can see he is in the new pack but I donāt see that on my end. It wonāt allow me to do anything, says I need to be a parent and I am the parent. Not sure what to do.
Iām receiving the same message about my email address being used by another user.
SB User: 12852036
BSA ID: 110302019
Thank you!
Iām having the error message about another user using my email. Also, Iāve just started as a den leader and I have a Cub Scout and Boy Scout. We moved to a new council about 18 months ago but im still seeing the old one in scout book.
Any help is appreciated
Jeff
I, too, am getting this error when I login to my account.
@BeckyBlackburn You were logged in at my.scouting with the wrong BSA member number set as āprimaryā. This should be fixed.
@DavidWilde I have merged your Scoutbook accounts.
@JeffBrown1 Your Scoutbook accounts have been merged.
@JenelleHenry Your e-mail address was also on your sonās Scoutbook account. I have removed it.
Thank you for taking care of that issue.
I didnāt realize that a separate Scoutbook account was set-up for my son who is currently still only 14. How does that work?
Every Scout has an account in Scoutbook though most are unable to or never logged in. This is where their advancement data is stored.
In some cases, registrars put the parentās e-mail address on the Scoutās record which was then pushed to Scoutbook. I suspect this is what happened in your case.
Hi there, I am having this problem as well. I have an account that was a den leader until recently when I was mysteriously removed from the position in Scoutbook. A unit admin readded my email address but now I seem to have two accounts. Could you merge them for me? My email address is my last name at gmail.com
Just as a warning, my son has the same name as me in case you use name to help you merge.
Thank you!
@EdwardKaplonski this is fixed - sign in with your my.scouting.org credentials not your email
Sorry - unable to start a new post.
Can you please merge my 2 accounts?
BSA 14530533 and BSA 13848521
I need remain connected to my 2 kids (BSA 13848525 and BSA 14530534).
Many thanks,
Amanda
@AmandaODonnell I have merged your Scoutbook accounts.
I would recommend contacting your local council and ask them to put all of your user relationships (parent / child) under 13848521. They can do this with their Registrar tools.
Iām having a similar problem. We relocated from northern NJ to the Southern Tier of NY state. When we joined the local Troop, a new Scoutbook account was created for my son, so he has now has two:
Original BSA ID: 132846624
Newer BSA ID: 137320936
Iād like to have these two accounts merged, but donāt want to lose his advancement from the original account. There are rank advancements, camping nights, Merit Badges, and more on the original account that need to make it over to his newer BSA ID / Scoutbook account (which we continue to update as he progresses toward Eagle). Thanks for any help you can provide.
I am also receiving this error. I am the parent of a scout.
