@WilliamsburgScouter that is fixed even though it has been 3 years since that user has logged in
how do i delete my duplicate parent account?
Hi All! I am having NO LUCK getting anyone from my Council to fix the issues Iām having in SB with duplicate accounts, Lost/Dropped Scouts and another one where the parents login in to their scouts SB account and the scout is listed under a different Council, State, etc.
Can I please have a SUAC member contact me via private msg to help?!
THANK YOU, so much!
One such example is
BSA ID 12532477
USER ID 9509937
Email: changemyemail@scoutbook.com
BSA ID 132437713
USER ID 2721025
Email: correct as shown
This user is the same person and is an adult leader with training. One acct is the leader account and the other is just attached to the scout as a parent. Can these 2 accounts be merged into 1 so that all of the pertinent information is validā¦specifically the completed training and he is connected to his 2 scouts accounts?
Once merged, please let me know, and I will have them attempt to reset password on merged account.
Thanks!
@BrianStilts that is fixed - no reason to reset password - they need to log in using their my.scouting.org credentials which is what the seem to have been doing
Thatās AWESOME! Thank You!
Would you do the same thing for these 2 adults?
BSA ID 135318926
USER ID 9865412
Email: not showing one
BSA ID 13036151
USER ID 2245324
Email: correct as shown
AND
BSA ID 13475464
USER ID 10501005
Email: correct as shown
BSA ID 136567459
USER ID 10479098
Email: not showing one
Thanks Again!
You are a LIFESAVER, Sir!!!
I have a few other issues that I have had NO LUCK getting resolved from my own Council, if you donāt mind.
I have a parent that cannot see her own 2 scouts when she logs on to our unit. When she does logon her 2 scouts are shown in another Council in another state. I think they may have transferred to our council when they moved, but SB was never updated. Iām not sure what info you would need from me in order to fix this. I can give you the BSA ID #'s for the 2 scouts and the Mom. They should be members of Garden State Council in NJ.
BSA ID: 13554889 Scout 1
User ID: 11221705
BSA ID: 13554846 Scout 2
User ID: 11221704
BSA ID: 13515749 Mom
User ID: 10655755
Email: changemyemail@scoutbook.com
The final issue, I HOPE, is the case of a āDroppedā scout. My unit had a chartered scout that has disappeared from SB and no one seems to be able to find this scout. I donāt have his BSA ID#. Would his name help?
Thanks SO MUCH!!!
The mother is fixed but both kids have 2 users so let me look at that - I will send you a direct message > look at top right Avatar to find it > it will be a green dot with a number 1 > it will be a private message channel with select members of the Scoutbook User Advisory Council (SUAC)
Iām writing to request help with duplicate BSA IDs for a parent. Both IDs have Full Control connections to the Scout, but when the parent logs in, itās not showing any connection.

Hi - I have an adult leader with multiple accounts. She is registered as a leader in the pack with BSA ID: 136798814. When she logs into Scoutbook, she can see her children but cannot access other members of her den. The BSA ID attached to her SB account is 13087676 and the User ID is 2278208.
