A leader who had an existing scoutbook account now is unable to log in, presumably because of the merge with myscouting credentials.
The “old” account with the correct den permissions, etc, has member id: 137087652
The “new” account that she now gets put into when she logs in has member id: 12883607
Can these accounts please be merged so that logging in with her email address gets her in with all her leadership positions and permissions back?
Thank you!

I’ve had the same issue for months and my Council reps have been unable to solve it. Please help!

We have a volunteer who is having the same issue. Any assistance you can provide for us to help her get this resolved would be greatly appreciated.
I have a similar issue. My user name seems to be associated with two emails, an old one and new one. I would like to replace the old with the new, but when I try to do so I receive an error that the new email is already associated with another Scoutbook account. How do I resolve? Thanks!
Joe,
You had 2 Scoutbook accounts, one with no data. I have deleted this account. You should be able to update your e-mail on the remaining account.
Colin,

Oh, you’ve resolved a HUGE headache for me! Thank you so much!
I am also having the same problem of duplicate scoutbook acccounts. Can I get them merged, or the empty one deleted? Thank you.
Sorry to sound like a broken record but I also have this problem.
Account attached to member ID 132161157 needs to be merged into the account w/ member ID 4240191
Thank you in advance

I have a similar problem with my troop. One parent is linked to her scout son, but then joined as a troop leader. She now has 2 accounts, 1 as leader and one as linked parent. Any suggestions on how to merge these into one?
Well she needs to log into my.scouting.org > click Menu top left > Click Manage Member ID > one of the BSA # will be there marked PRIMARY > then add the other MID (BSA #) - you want to make the one that is your unit registration PRIMARY > Then go to Scoutbook.com and log in using your my.scouting.org credentials
On the Scoutbook side we can merge them or she can log in as the parent one and disconnect from scout
Hi Donovan - Just to confirm, when I look at her two records in SB, only the leader one has a BSA #. The parent one linked to her son doesn’t show a BSA# and I believe it dates back to when he was in cub scouts. Is the process you mentioned indeed what should be followed even though I only see 1 BSA# on the scoutbook side? (Issue I’ve hit is I can’t add her email to her leader record since it is a duplicate to the old scoutbook account)

Hi Donovan,
I replied to the PM in the forum
Thank you!

Donovan- I too have an issue with an adult leader who appears to have two different membership numbers, and the 2nd number is preventing us from inputting his only email address into the first record in scoutbook.
@DonovanMcNeil We have a similar issue, one of our leaders/parents now has 3 accounts, the one she is able to get into (the middle Marsa in my image) has a member ID but no email, our council has been unable to help with getting the other two deleted so she can associate her email with the active one. Can we get the first and last one deleted?
