I am unable to add Merit Badges for one scout. All other scouts are working fine, and with this one scout, I am able to add rank advancements without any problem.

So can you not start an mb or not add reqs???

Look at scouts membership and make sure they do not have a pack membership

Also, if you can’t start the merit badge, make sure that the MB wasn’t already started. We’ve had a couple of those cases where the MB had been started, and we missed that when trying to add the MB to the scout.

I had what sounds like this problem - you click the “start new merit badge” button, and it bounces you back to the main dashboard page. I found another forum post that pointed me at dangling pack memberships, and indeed closing off a pack membership fixed the issue.
