I have a merit badge counselor, BSA ID 4611631 Scoutbook ID 1471064, who does not show up when I search for him by name on Scoutbook. When I download the full list (with or without details) he shows up correctly, with merit badges. He is listed council wide and available. I am Council advancement chair in council 539.

I am searching under the merit badge counselor’s name. I do not know if he is connected to any Scouts. I am searching on the page “MB Counselor List” that searches by name, distance (Any Distance) and Availability (Both).

@ThomasStalnaker - what are his setting for search within scoutbook itself rather than what the akela listing shows ? He may have restricted that in scoutbook.

@DonovanMcNeil - I am suspecting I cant find him via search if he is limiting to local council in scoutbook, but I can add him as a connection to a scout as MBC
The Scoutbook download shows that he is Council List, the default. Could it be that he has another registration with another council?
@ThomasStalnaker - only one person shows up when I add him as a connection based on that BSA ID. How are you getting the scoutbook download ?

When I search by his name, I get nothing. When I search for counselors for one of his merit badges, he does not show up.
When I search, I even see people that have selected Not Listed.
@ThomasStalnaker - again I would suspect user pref settings may be in play
What setting other than Listing and Availability? I am not sure what you are suggesting, or how to get it fixed.
