New Scouts Missing From Scoutbook

The developers are aware of this issue.

So should we just wait on these scouts with no parents ?? I don’t want to create duplicate accounts for the parent and make things more complicated down the road. Is there an ETA or recommendation on how to proceed now?

@JenniferClark9 If you can wait, the developers are planning to run a script to fix the missing parent connections. Hopefully, later today if testing goes as expected.

Bad news. I couldn’t modify it (won’t let me) so I figured now that she showed in the system, I can delete the connection and re-establish it correctly. Now I can’t do that because the system can’t find her. . Can you please re-add the mom and I’m just going to leave the connection set to whatever it was when it came through the first time? Sorry for the duplicate work. Thank you!

She had already been on the system. Search is broken. What do you mean it won’t let you change the connection type?

Parent was greyed out. I couldn’t modify it to that. I could only select the other option, which it originally was “Other Family Member”.

Thank you. I now have parents to all but 1 scout. It still won’t let me add the parent or search (I understand this broken). I also have 2nd parents that need to be added to their child’s account. So can we add the additional parents to scout accounts at this time? Workaround? I don’t want to create duplicates.

@JenniferClark9 Please provide the bsa member number of the one that is still missing the parent

@JenniferClark9 For those that worked, adding a 2nd parent is fine. If the second parent is not already a parent of a current or previous scout, go ahead and create a new parent account. But if you get the warning they already exist or you know they already exist, we may have to help you connect them since the search is broken. If that occurs and we need to talk about actual names, we can start a private message.

We had added a parent manually before the fix was implemented which created a duplicate profile. Could someone please help us merge the duplicate profiles to fix this connection in Scoutbook?

I am hoping you can help me as I am having the same issue. I approved the application on September 1, and the parent received a confirmation. But it still has not come through. My Scouts BSA number is 137335855 They should be in Pack 503 Middle Tennessee Council. Can you help?
