Please merge account profiles

Good morning @EnricoColoccia_Jr, I don’t see a reply from SUAC to your post. Just giving it a bump in case it was skipped.

Done @EnricoColoccia_Jr - thanks @DougWright

Thanks Donovan. Is there a way to proactively see if our adults are set up correctly so new parents don’t have to have the unmotivating experience of trying to log in only to have these issues?pop up? Sorry for so many questions, this is my first time trying to get everyone logging in.

@GregoryStevenson no - they can check themself - but you cannot

How can I get three adult account numbers merged? It would be great to have an easier way to fix these, or not create that problem to begin with.

Good Morning fellow Scoutbook team!

I have an adult on our troop roster that has BSA member #s from two councils and seems that he now has two Scoutbook accounts as well and he’s lost his Scoutbook permissions.

Is it possible for him to use one Scoutbook profile / UserID with two BSA Member #s? Here’s the details:

Council A / Troop
BSA Member # 130065806
Scoutbook UserID: 12135198 (this appears to be the new Scoutbook ID as it has an email address of (with an email address of changemyemail@scoutbook.com)

Council B / Pack
BSA Member # 137449501
Scoutbook UserID: 32969

We’d like to keep Scoutbook UserID: 32969 as the one Scoutbook profile as that has all of his activity / etc.

If we can merge Scoutbook accounts, how does he toggle BSA Member #s as works across a troop in council A and a pack in council B?

@bryanscouting When someone has active registrations in more than one council, it’s usually not a good idea to merge their Scoutbook accounts.

What’s the recommended approach then?

I ask as your recommendation contradicts earlier guidance from other SUAC members which was to merge the Scoutbook accounts and have the user toggle between their primary BSA member # in my.Scouting

@HeatherReeder that is fixed in Scoutbook for you

Hello,
Please help with merging the below accounts. The New Account was added when we moved in Aug/Sep 2021. All of my Son’s past awards/ranks were deleted when AlaFlo Council added the new account. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you,

Adam Keller

@AdamKeller these are fixed

Hello,

Thanks so much for your help. Can you retrieve the profile picture from the Scout account that was merged with the current one?

No we cannot do that

I wish I would have saved it. That was the pic from his first Tiger meeting.

I could restore the account @AdamKeller

If you could do that for a couple minutes so I can save the pic. I would be most grateful.

OK @AdamKeller it is restored and you are parent

Thank you so so much! I got it and the new account has all of his past info that would transfer from Pack to Troop. You can go ahead and archive the old account.
Your help is very much appreciated.
