The reason this Scout ended up with 2 Scoutbook IDs is because he was registered once as a Lion Cub without a middle name and once as a Cub Scout with a middle name. We need to know which is the correct registration in order to fix this issue.

Hello -
My husband has an account created that doesn’t have any of his completed trainings, however, this is the account to which he has access. The BSA account that is tracking his trainings, we do not have access. Our council told us to delete the first account and then we can set up the appropriate email address to the latter.

Can someone help, no one in my troop or council can seem to delete the old. Would this idea of merging accounts solve the problem?

Delete 13056852 / merge into account 137239342.

Good afternoon - In My.Scouting.Org (name removed by Moderator) is listed with 2 member IDs when I search; one has updated training dates and one does not. The one without the updates is what is showing when looking at the dashboard/reports. How can I combine these and have only 1 and the correct one showing everything? 135744104 and 13711451

One of my den leaders has two BSA identification numbers assigned to her. Because the wrong ID is assigned to her Scoutbook account, she cannot log into her Scoutbook account.

BSA Member: 136610564

SB User: Unknown
BSA Member: 13489780

The correct BSA Member ID and the one shown on the den leader’s My Scouting account is 13489780. All of her training is associated with this BSA Member ID.

Her account information in Scoutbook references the 136610564 BSA Member ID.

Can you change her associated Scoutbook BSA Member ID to 13489780? Any assistance that you can provide is appreciated.

My wife and I are stepping away as cubmaster and assistant cubmaster, and the pack is working with our council and charter organization to change two of the key three positions for our unit. The den leader experiencing this problem will become committee chair. Straightening out this situation is key key to the functionality of her new role as committee chair.

@JamesHenegar the issue is she is loggin in the wrong way - she needs to use her my.scouting.org username and password not her email - I will merge the accounts but she needs to use the other log in

I have a Scout that has two Scoutbook ID’s, but a single BSA ID. It is showing up as two of the same Scout in my leader account. One account has all of his BSA history, parent info, etc., while the other is blank. Not sure if they need to be merged, but I don’t want to lose the advancement info in the account that we have used for years.

Original Scoutbook User ID (KEEP) = 6526276
New Scoutbook User ID (Blank account, merge to original?) = 11818575

@JLeviWhite The Scoutbook accounts have been merged.

Check the Scout’s Membership page. The Scout probably has a troop membership and a patrol membership. If so, try adding an end date to the troop membership, but leave the patrol membership.

I attempted to remove the troop account, but when I hit save it does not accept the close out date. I reassigned to his normal patrol. I now see only one of that scout in the patrol, but looking in his membership there are still two memberships listed. Is that OK? They both appear synced now.

I should be listed under 137271722 as my active account w Muskingum Valley Council
