I am attempting to log adventures using the Scoutbook Plus Quick entry. I am selecting the rank (Bear), the adventure (Bear Strong), the version (only 2024 exists so I select that). I select the scouts, I check all the requirements completed, select the date, submit it, get the confirmation pop up which I confirm is all correct, hit submit, I get the green banner stating the action was a success. Then when I go to any random scout in my den, the adventure says “Started”, but when I open the adventure , nothing is completed. I am doing this on a desktop using Chrome. I have attempted on my phone as well, same thing. I have omitted my own child from the scouts selected, same outcome. I am very frustrated as I have 22 scouts to log for . I need Quick Entry to be usable .
Are all the Scouts on the 2024 version of Rank and 2024 of adventure just to limit chances?

This adventure is only a 2024 adventure, so there is no other possible choice for it.
What about the rank version?

In scoutbook plus quick entry I can only select bear rank, not a specific version of the rank. For the adventure version drop down, this one (Bear Strong) is new , so it’s only choice is 2024, so that’s what I select.
What Matt and Donovan was getting at regarding the rank version is only visible from the individual scout’s advancement page, rather than from quick entry. Based on reports here, there have been a lot of issues where one or more scouts appear to have “started” their current ranks before the switchover on the SB+ system, which caused issues similar to what you were reporting. The goal was to narrow down whether it was a known issue already being worked, a new issue, or a previously-squashed bug re-occurring.
I honestly dont know. My den is a mix of returning scouts, who were moved over to their new rank in late June, which I believe was after new Scoutbook Plus rolled out, and new scouts who have just joined at the end of august. I’ve looked through a mix of new and returning scouts’ individual profiles and all are defaulting to 2024 Bear rank requirements. Additionally, my unit notes the same issue doing Quick Entry for the Lion Den, all of whom are brand new scouts as of August, so none of them were in the old system. It seems to be an issue for most ranks, if not all, in my unit. The only way anything is actually sticking on scout’s advancement is to do it individually. Quick Entry functionality is working, but it isnt actually applying it to any of our scout’s advancement.
I’ve noticed something similar. Is there a way to do a mass change where we switch everyone to the 2024 program so that we don’t go into every single Scout’s profile and individually change it? This would be especially useful for a large Pack that has 95 scouts…
Not that I’m aware of.
We are requesting that IT force every Cub Scout to 2024. We do not know if that will happen or not.
I’m confused how the lions would also be an issue if it’s an issue of some scouts not being in the current program year. The lions didn’t register until a month ago , so none of them should have been defaulting to old program, yet we still have the same issue with them as well.

Essentially, you have to drill into each individual scout’s profile and update the version of the Rank they’re working on, and then go into each the specific adventure and also update the version of the Adventure on that scout’s page (just choosing the version on the Unit Quick Entry page doesn’t do it)
I eventually found this caveat at the top of the Unit Quick Entry page:
The current solution is a bit cumbersome and kind of defeats the effectiveness of Unit Quick Entry, so the ultimate request would be a fix that doesn’t require us to drill into each individual adventure page of each scout to change the version.
Since we should all be working to the 2024 requirements, an automatic IT force to 2024 for ranks AND adventures would be the best solution.
Unfortunately I have already gone through all 22 bears and every single one is already on 2024z same with the Lions, none of them are defaulting to previous versions of the program . So I’m still at a loss .
@SharonMartinez1 - you also checked the adventure version as well as the rank?
Yes. The adventure in question is a new one, so there is no other option other than 2024.
When you’re on the unit Quick Entry Page and have selected the adventure, are you seeing “v2024” under each Scout (similar to the screenshot below, except it’s 2024, not 2016)
