Our Pack is seeing issues after entering progress in Scoutbook Plus. I entered progress on Bobcat for one of the Bear scouts via the website (full complete) and it shows correctly when opening the entry (via tile). However, the tile shows as “Not Started” in Scoutbook Plus on the Bobcat tile under the ‘Current Adventures’ section.
The progress bar reflected the progress of 41% for Bear rank when the Scoutbook Plus page initially loaded with me as the parent (the scout is my child) but it goes back to 13% when I switch to Leader view. When going back to Parent view, it now shows as 13%.
I have confirmed it is the correct version (2024 rank version).
In scoutbook.scouting.org, under the “advancement” section for the scout, I see the correct percentage (41%) reflected and the adventure icons are added to the row, however, the icon images are not loading (it only shows the name and broken icon reference picture).
Other leaders in the Pack are having similar issues. Please advise.

The issue with displaying Not Started despite being complete is a known issue. We do not know when a fix will be released.
Legacy Scoutbook was not updated with the new Cub Scout program. Only use legacy Scoutbook for awards, not advancement for Cub Scouts.
I start in scoutbook.scouting.org, choose “My Dashboard”, choose my Den, choose a scout, choose “[Scout’s] Advancements”. advancements.scouting.org opens to the profile of the chosen scout. It defaults to “Den Leader” view.
I choose the adventure tile, enter progress, save, save, save, save, save, and save some more. It shows completed at the adventure detail page

Back up the bread-crumb trail and it shows not started.
The redirection is new this year but the same steps worked for me in August.
Can someone help me understand what part of the above is incorrect?

For packs, I would just start at https://advancements.scouting.org instead of starting at https://scoutbook.scouting.org. Select your role, select Roster to see the list of Scouts.

I logged out of my session, started incognito window (chrome), and navigated to the advancements site provided.
After logging in and stepping through the guided tour, I selected the “Unit Quick Entry”>“Enter Adventures” from the ‘Roster’ menu bar. Choose “Bear”, “Bobcat (Bear)”, and “Current - 2024” then select ‘Apply’ button.
Chose a single scout - not the same as previous who shows with a warning icon and tool-tip-on-hover stating that the progress was already recorded - choose ‘Select all’ check-box, enter a comment, pick a date, and select the ‘Apply’ button.
The system saves the entry and reflects as complete but only when drilled down to the adventure details.
Issue persists showing “Not Started” in the previously mentioned locations.
Please advise.

As I stated previously there is a known issue with some items showing Not Started when they are completed. We do not know when a fix will be ready for release.
Thanks. You also said not to use legacy, to start from advancement, and it all implied that the process by which the entry was being created could be the cause of the defect.
Now I understand that this is unrelated to any action taken by an individual entering the progress but is instead a system defect. Thank you for helping to clear that up.
Our Pack will be better prepared to answer questions from Parents and Leaders if the status is not showing correctly when they check.

Can you check again? We have been told the issue of not showing the correct status on the summary or rank pages has been fixed.
I was having the same issue as the OP and checked the scout today. It shows the adventure that was showing Not Started as Awarded now. 
Thank you for keeping us updated. Unfortunately, the Bobcat(Bear) still does not reflect the correct status. I even marked as approved and the status tile did not change. The summertime fun elective which was marked completed in early August is still showing correctly and correctly reflects the Awarded status I just applied.
Maybe it is just this Bobcat adventure. I will check with the Pack if they have other examples.
For all my dens. every required loops/pin that we know are started and in progress are showing not started. It is not just happening on the BOBCAT loop but all the rest as well. Is this part of the known issue or a new one?

It is happening to everyone on the core 6 required adventures only, no matter what the adventure is. Yes Bobcat on everyone is having an issue but I listed couple kids for examples to show the adventures.

another quick question if you happen to know.
When we click in Outdoor Adventurer for the scouts that earned the old version, it won’t let us click to the new version. I’m assuming it is because they have already earned it and sort of locked up per say or is this an error?
yes if there is an old version of an adventure it is locked
so it won’t even let you toggle to the new version, correct?
and if it is locked, why is it not saying “awarded” then on the main screen where it shows the 6 required adventures? Part of the progress error going on too maybe?
