Still Log in issues

@RamiroMartinez - what url are you using to log into or at the very least attempting to use for scoutbook ?

At the mobile site posted. I’m getting this even after resetting the PWD, Invalid username and/or password provided. Your my.Scouting account will be locked after 2 more attempt. Then I add my email extension and I get this: Please login using your my.scouting username & PWD

https://scoutbook.scouting.org/mobile

Ramiro,

We need the actual URL you are using for Scoutbook in able to try to determine the source of your issue.

https://scoutbook.scouting.org/mobile

Have you tried logging in via an Incognito or Private window?

When you go to Scoutbook is the URL being changed to https://scoutbook.scouting.org/login? Are you seeing the Internet Advancement login screen (white background) or the Scoutbook login screen (tan background)?

Yes, tried private / incognito after a cache clear.

Was it a new incognito window or an existing one where you had tried to access Scoutbook previously? There is also a cookie issue if not using an incognito window You need to clear cookies for *.scouting.org.

When you go to Scoutbook is the URL being changed to https://scoutbook.scouting.org/login ? Are you seeing the Internet Advancement login screen (white background) or the Scoutbook login screen (tan background)?

sorry, just a grumpy old guy having a bad day, it would have been nice to have an email with some instructions on what problems that could arise with solutions, ie; deleting scoutbook shortcut, browsing history and cookies. again sorry

I am a little confused. When I go to https://scoutbook.scouting.org it brings me to the login page (/login). Then I log in and I’m seeing an interface that I’ve never seen before, but I don’t think it’s Scoutbook. When I click on the button with the “SB” icon, it brings me to https://www.scoutbook.com/mobile/?ShowLogin=1&Redir=%2Fmobile%2Fdashboard%2FDefault.asp%3F. So I try logging in with my email and password, and it says that I could not be logged in. I don’t have any of the Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple set up.

@Dylan - I think you may be seeing the internet advancement web site. Can you clear any and all cache for scouting.org as a domain and delete any scoutbook.con cookies and cache and i did intend to ask for you to delete cookies for scouting.org. now the url should be Scoutbook

Hi, that seemed to fix the scoutbook.scouting.org issue. I can now log into the site as it originally looked. However, I’m now having an issue with my.scouting.org. Here is what it says when I log into that:

A system glitch prevented us from updating your profile email address to what you had provided during your account creation process. Please update the email address on your profile to what it needs to be. Sorry for the inconvenience!

@Dylan - were you able to log into my.scouting.org before without issue? It makes me think that there are lingering cache issues there in your browser. As much as we are reliant on internet browsers they are indeed the dumbest entities around.

@Dylan I’d definitely try logging into my.scouting using an incognito. If that alone doesn’t work, try doing a password reset.

Change your password, then clear all cache and cookies (everything from beginning of time) then login to this URL: https://scoutbook.scouting.org. The capcha is set way to high, takes like 15 clicks to login.

Same here. Cannot get into Scoutbook. Reboot refresh etc etc says it doesn’t know me.

I had the same problem. I tried logging in on my phone, then my laptop and I kept getting the refresh warning. I finally tried my desktop and was able to log in. A father in my den had a similar experience.

This problem has been fixed.

Users can go to either Scoutbook or https://scoutbook.com then click the Login button. DO NOT use https://www.scoutbook.com/mobile as this URL will not allow you to log in.

If you have a bookmark for https://www.scoutbook.com/mobile, please change it to Scoutbook.

I can log in as of this morning but can not send messages. I get a pop-up that says “We can not send your message. Please try again later.” Been trying to send out something since yesterday.

Stacy,

Are you trying to add more than 1 attachment or use BB code in your message? There are known issues with both.

Only one attachment. Not sure what you mean by BB code. Have done tis before many times. Why is it a problem now???
