Good afternoon
My scoutbook account currently show two different user names and currently not linked to current unit I registered with which troop 182. I show up on my.scouting.org roster with them as ASM but not under scoutbook by member id: 140332709
@AdamMattheus This is mostly fixed. I have requested a position sync, but you might need to wait until tomorrow before it is back in Scoutbook.
Please contact your local council and ask them to use their Registrar Tools to look up your child (or children). In the âRelationshipsâ tab / section, you should be listed as parent only under your primary BSA member ID number: 140332709. They should remove you if you are listed as parent under any secondary BSA member ID numbers. This will help to prevent future issues.
Hello, I no longer can see my Troop or Crew that I am associated with. When I go to Scoutbook and log in, I get âWarning another user is using the same E-Mail addressâ
I believe itâs because in my.scouting, I do have (2) ID numbers with (2) Councils, 10139874 and 129502260. I would like the 101398734 to be the main (merge other council into this one).
Thank you
Hello- I am now getting this message -âWarning another user is using the same email address. If this is unexpected contact your local council or post to the Using Scoutbook forum.â
I have recently joined as a committee member with my sonâs Troop. Along with this message, Iâm not able to access his info as âparentâ an longer.

Can someone please help merge an account for one of my scouts.
SB is showing the following:
SB User ID: 6691504
BSA Member ID: 137410861
Previous BSA Member ID: 133468899
However, on his phone he is showing:
SB User ID: 13746785
I believe someone from our council created yet another SB ID for him.
Thanks for your help.
@ThomasArmstrong this is fixed - most likely this scout did this themself - making a my.scouting.org log in - I suggest keeping this pdf to help others not do this.
Myst Account Setup.pdf (233.0 KB)
@DonovanMcNeil. Thanks very much.
Hi - I have two scouting.org ID linked to the same email address. One is renewed and current and the other one needs to be merged/deleted. Also the member ID on the Relationshipb tab of my scout is a completely different member ID. I have no clue what that ID 13069147 i. Can that link be updated to the correct ID 13038545
13543466 - wrong account to be closed
13038545 - Correct account
13069147 - Linked in scout account in Relationship tab
@VandanaKrishnamohan BSA member ID numbers cannot currently be merged, they can only be managed (Manage Member ID at my.Scouting). Scoutbook accounts can be merged.
I have merged your Scoutbook accounts.
You also have 3 usernames (logins) at my.Scouting. Do you want to keep the one that you are currently logged into? We can retire the others.
Please contact your local council and ask them to use their Registrar Tools to look up your child (or children). In the âRelationshipsâ tab / section, they need to remove you as parent under your secondary BSA member ID number. Then they need to add you as parent under your primary BSA number: 13038545. This will help to prevent future issues.
Yes please. Keep the one that is current. Thank you in advance.

Hi, Jennifer!
I have a parent of a scout (member ID 141207072) who is getting that duplicate user/duplicate email warning in Scoutbook. I was trying to help her out with setting up a Scoutbook account and establishing a connection to her son. I think by accident two Scoutbook accounts may have been created for her. I do not think there is an issue with her having multiple BSA member ID numbers of her own, as she is not registered. I was just trying to establish a connection to her son (EM-E) in Scoutbook. I canât give her BSA member ID as she doesnât have one, but her initials are NM. It looks his father (EE) still has a pending connection. Can you possibly merge NMâs two Scoutbook accounts into one? I think this is the problemâŠ

@CHARLESNICKERSON ok that Sign in with Apple is there for her
Hi, Donovan!
She did the Sign in with Apple option but the connection to her son isnât working - she doesnât see any of his information when she logs into Scoutbook but as a parent she should see everything for him⊠I can have her log out and log back in.
Thank you for the very quick reply,
Chuck
Donovan,
I had her log out and log back into Scoutbook, andâŠsuccess!!! Sheâs very happy and thank you - you must have done something behind the scenesâŠ
Have a good night,
Chuck
Hello,
I have two parents that have multiple/duplicate accounts in Scoubook/Scoutbook Plus. It looks like they were duplicated when they were connected to a second child.
Matt Hoida ID: 141157438
Michael Jonely ID: 141463124
(Mike has three accounts and cannot RSVP to any events)
Side questionâŠmaybe in another forum yet to be found. I have several leaders that âOpted outâ of being leaders this year and they have disappeared as parents within the event/roster/RSVP lists within Scoutbook Plus. How do I get them back as parents?
Thanks,

Hello. I have a Scoutbook account that is showing there are duplicate emails in the system.
Iâm a parent and donât see my child listed in Scoutbook or myscouting. My childâs initials are MC.
Myscouting ID: 13582753
I think this should the canonical entry because it has my YPT status as up to date. Any help with reconciling would be greatly appreciated.
@VictorCardenas I have merged your Scoutbook accounts.
In order to see your child at my.Scouting, you will need to contact your local council and ask them to add you as a parent ârelationshipâ.
