I have one last (hopefully last
) example of duplicate parent records for a Scout.
Scout BSA ID 132813105.
Valid adult BSA ID: 132813106 (email = changeyouremail@scoutbook.com)
Invalid record has no BSA ID and URL includes /adultProfile/1409943 (but has the correct email address)
Thank you again!
@DavidHammond1 This parent’s BSA member number is 132813106.
She should log in with her my.scouting username – not her e-mail address.

Other than the “I forgot my username” path, is there another way to get their username, e.g., can I find it somewhere on their profile?
@DavidHammond1 no - just like you could not find someone else’s Amazon User name.
@DavidHammond1 The parent can work with the local council for assistance.
Hello, we have another leader, JZ, that we cannot assign a den to. He was a previous leader, but would you mind please looking into this as well?
@JessicaHanson1 - is that leader listed on the roster at my.scouting.org? If not they are not registered

@JessicaHanson1 J.Z. is currently a Lion Adult Partner. However, Lion / Tiger Adult Partners are not considered registered adult leaders by the BSA.
J.Z. will need to register as an adult leader with your pack.

Thank you; this is my mistake as I thought he was. We will have him register!

Thank you, this is my mistake as I thought he was already. We will have him register.
Hi,
The problem isn’t fixed. In fact, it appears to be worse. It appears my husbands Internet Advancement account and Scoutbook account were merged with my son’s account. I’ve attached screenshots. I am getting errors on my account as is my son. My son’s entire activity log appears to have disappeared too. This is especially problematic as my son is doing his Eagle project this month and is preparing for his Eagle Board. We don’t have reliable proof for activities. Please help.
Husband SB User ID: 13091037
@ErinSmith5 your husbands account had at least 2 issues - there were 2 accounts, and in creating one of the accounts he stole your scouts BSA # - that is all fixed - the Sign in with Google is fixed for the askrob…@ account
We (Troop 219, Flint River Council) also have a father (BSA# 12999707) that apparently has two accounts. Can we get those two accounts merged?
@JohnBonner that is fixed
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your help.
Hello! Can you please help merge two accounts? My leader is registered with my Pack with ID 137102880 but they did all of their training with ID 14496728. Thank you!
@StephanieBrierty did you get these numbers backwards? The Second number is a Den Leader in TAC that is an active registration, the first number is not an active registration
I did get them backwards I apologize! When I look at my Roster, he is listed under 14496728 but his my.Scouting (where he did his training) is under Member ID 137102880. Thanks!
@StephanieBrierty This is fixed.
Please contact your local council and ask them to use their Registrar Tools to look up his child (or children). In the “Relationships” section, this adult should be listed there as parent under BSA 14496728. They should remove his other BSA member number(s) if listed there as parent.

I have a Scout (BSA #136592124) that shows two parents, but there should only be one. One of the names is missing a letter (the bad account - no BSA ID # )for the adult and the other account (the good one) has correct spelling and BSA ID# 13514414. Can we merge the two accounts and what do I do about the incorrect DOB on the good adult account?
Thanks in advanmce.
