Yes, I only need the scoutbook user ids merged so he can see all his units under same log in. This has been done in the past, but every time either of the councils makes a change it messes up everything. Thank you!
I have two accounts in Scoutbook that need to be merged:
The “Good” account is:
Joseph Forjette
The DUPLICATE account is:
Joe Forjette
I’ve never logged into the account with the first name Joe and do not know what, if any, member ID is associated with it.
he account that I want to SURVIVE is the account with the first name Joseph
Moderator: Removed PII as we do not need it to fix the issue.
This is fixed. Log in with the my.scouting.org ID that is not an e-mail address.
Check your address in either Scoutbook or my.scouting.org. These differed from your address in the BSA person database. If the address is incorrect, change it in one location and it will be pushed to all other databases.
I also recommend contacting your Council and asking them to use the relationships tab of Registrar Tools to add your children to your official registration.
I also am getting the multiple accounts on one email. I had participated in an out of council summer camp and previous to that was listed as a “unit secretary” and had access to calendar, etc…now, post camp I am on the account that only show “unit reserve.”
I’m wondering if when the camp was over and they removed me from their roster if it undid that account. Is there anyway to merge the accounts I had from within my home council?
Yes, we can merge these. What is your home council?
I was able to find what I needed. I have merged your Scoutbook accounts and removed your e-mail address from your son with first initial C’s Scoutbook account.
Just post the BSA Member ID (no names). Without a name, it is safe to post here as it just looks like a random number.
Ok, then you can post the Scoutbook User ID and we can search by that.
@Fox If you are still interested, we could send you a private message.
I appreciate the offer. The frustration is Scoutbook, and the associated websites aren’t very user friendly on a phone, or in general, to say the least.
The issue is I have a couple cubs that have duplicate accounts that aren’t linked to their BSA Member IDs. The accounts seemed to have vanished over the last week or so.
- SB User ID 13682584 with no BSA Member ID used to have the Cubs advancement, and completed adventures for tiger and showed that cub in Wolf 91. All of that seems to have vanished into the ether. If it can be found it needs to be merged with SB User ID 13672333, BSA Member ID 140867382.
- SB User ID 13682586 with no BSA Member ID used the bulk of the cubs advancement, and completed adventures and also showed the cub in Wolf 91. It needs to be merged with SB User ID 1365737, BSA Member ID 140852351.
@Fox - I suspect these scouts were entered into the scoutbook side prior to an application being processed hence the lack of a BSA ID. That should never ever be done.
Yeah, probably but it was done before my time so I am just trying to get things fixed.
Perhaps @JenniferOlinger can take a look
@Fox I sent you a private message.

I have a parent tryin to register as a leader but keeps getting an error request. I’m not sure how to help her but I do show she has two accounts on Scoutbook and advancements.scouting.org
- ScoutUserID=11971500 / ConnectionID=57915688 - this one gives me an error message when opened in advancements.scouting.org but all the contact details is correct in Scoutbook
- ScoutUserID=11971500 / ConnectionID=57876535 - this one shows BSA ID 137355516 when opened in advancements.scouting.org but contact details show changeyouremail@scoutbook.com in email
Please merge the 2 accounts. This mom is connected to 4 scouts and would like to register a 5th scout as well as register as a leader herself.
Scouts connected to her have BSA ID: 137355515, 137163842, 135760351, and 135321907
Thank you.
