Google Family Link Scoutbook Login under 13 Restricted

SB Needs a mechanism for parent, leader or scout to remove the Google sign-in linked to a Scouts account. A Scout with google linked SB account can not log in to Scoutbook. This is due to Google policy now restricting less than 13 years old to using Google login on the Scoutbook page.

Ultimately - Scoutbook should not allow scouts under 13 to link their Scoutbook account to Google.
Additional Background - Family Link restrictions prohibit changing the age to 13+.

Need to remove google log in

Hello! My son is 13 and an Eagle and was signed up for my.scouting and Scoutbook on his own. We used his google log in and that seems to have been a mistake. My son has a family-link managed google account and gets this message now for this past few weeks when trying to login into Scoutbook from a browser. Interestingly, it appears that the Scouting app still works, but that may be cached credentials. This is consistent across browsers. Just tried that… After logging in first, it “pre-filled” my information immediately, not even providing the option to login. I was able to proceed to the checkout page. That’s definitely a viable work-around, but a little complicated to try to explain to families.
