Merging Two Scoutbook Accounts - NOT BSA Accounts

I need my SB accounts merged, too. Would you send me a DM, please?

@PEPJr

I’ll investigate this.

@PEPJr

Did you recently move from National Capital Area Council to Central North Carolina Council?

Thanks, Ed. Would you start a private message for this, please?

I sent you a private message. Click the green circle with white P in the upper right corner of your forum window.

Good morning,

I need help to merge two Scoutbook accounts for a parent in our Pack.

(Removed by moderator - no names needed)

Daughters:
(Removed by moderator - no names needed) (BSA ID: 14268282)
(Removed by moderator - no names needed) (BSA ID: 14268325)

Please keep the account using his email, [(Removed by moderator - no names needed)), for the username.
Thank you!

@MeganRichardson we will take a look - please do not post names or emails in forums - BSA # is enough

@MeganRichardson this is fixed - he needs to be using his my.scouting.org log in which he already uses, not his email, username is (nickname).(lastname)

Good evening,

I hope everyone is doing well.
I have a scout who looks to have been added and removed from our Troop roster in Scoutbook a few times now.

His old Scouts BSA ID is 133489025
His current Scouts BSA ID with our troop according to ScoutBook is 13554980

This scout was transferred from BAC Troop 731 to NCAC Troop 1250 back in mid November 2021

Please let me know if this is something you should handle or I can provide this information to the Scout and his parents and that they can resolve on their own.

Thank you very much!

@BrianPieslak this is fixed

I owe you a cup of coffee for all your help!

Have a scouter with one SB User ID but two SB accounts. He has combined his BSA IDs (in my.scouting.org) using Manage Member ID. SB ID 3791146, primary BSA ID 14340370, secondary BSA ID 110173678. The BSA IDs were from different councils.

@RussellPittman it is just the email was applied to his Scouts SB account - that is fixed

Thanks for doing this. He (SB ID 3791146) noted another issue…while his positions (CC, Key 3 delegate) are current in my.scouting.org, Scoutbook lists these positions in the “My Past Positions” with a cutoff of 1/5/23.

Any idea why?

No idea why but I have requested a position sync. Check after 4:00 PM Central today.

Can you merge:
SB USER ID 13085549
BSA ID 140196501 (not used)

with:
SB USER ID 2628562
BSA ID 135515563 (active)?
Thank you

@LilaAylstock I am cleaning this up - the DOB was off by 2 days so that might need to be checked - here are instructions for making an account (which caused this)
Myst Account Setup.pdf (223.2 KB)

We recharter Oct 1, and we had 1 scout re-registering as Unit Participant. First problem, he created a new account when taking the YPT by using the short version of his name. Ended up with 2 MID’s. After Council completed processing, he showed up in SB twice- one with his original id, history included, and a new scout (shortened name) with no history.
After a few fix attempts, now when I open SB, the scout shows up “Flagged” as not in a Patrol and Not on official roster in my.scouting. When I open SB Troop Roster, he is listed twice, full name, with the exact same account (original Member id and his history is there).
However, he is listed in my.scouting with the new MID only.

GCC 773
Original id 136235918 with his scouting records (only id listed in SB, duplicated)
Second id 140314380 (only id that shows up in my.scouting)

Any help or advice to pass on to fix this?
Thank you,
Lisa

@LiaWaterman this is fixed for him

Will the duplicate account on the SB roster be gone later, or can I delete the one that says ‘not in a patrol’?

Much appreciated.
