Not receiving emails just started the same day

My husband I haven’t been receiving emails or reminders since last week. We both are comcast users. Other domain users in the troop seem to be having no problems.

Adding another to the thread. As Cubmaster I use this feature often.
It was working correctly on 1/25, but stopped working that week.
Sometime between 1/25 and 1/30.
The account that is not working for me is a Hotmail account, another den leader also has a hotmail account that is not working, but it works for my wife’s gmail account, which corresponds to others saying this is related to Microsoft email systems but does not affect other accounts.

As a work around for the moment, I send an email to the people I need it to go to, as well as my wife’s gmail account so I ensure I get it with BCC off. I can then use the gmail account and Reply to All. When I do this everyone gets the message.

I am still having issues receiving SB emails. I send it out, but never get it back on my own email.

Same - still not receiving SB emails. Comcast.net email address. When will we get notified about this being fixed?

Like all bug fixes, they are announced with a weekly’ish change long. No need to keep reporting as they haven’t announced a fix.

Where is the change log located?

@RyanSchaefer @MARIETTECRISCI,

There’s a post here that explains how to subscribe to the change logs in these forums: Change a profile picture - #26 by CharleyHamilton

Thank you! I appreciate the tip

The issue is domains marking scoutbook email as spam at the domain level without the end user even knowing it.

The last email I received was on the 31st. Below is the header from one immediately prior.

That IP address is actively being blacklisted - comail2.netbsa.org [209.246.150.168]

@DavidO - that is the issue is that provider domains have black listed the outbound source

Is there a forum thread that we can follow for updates on when this is resolved? We’re one week out from Pinewood Derby and need to be able to communicate with all of our Pack families.

Somebody else asked and they said no. They said we have to follow the log. I agree, this seems to be a very massive issue and we are also a week out of pinewood that they should update us. We have a fair amount of people affected that I went into the scoutbook and exported the lists to email out side of scoutbook.

@RyanSchaefer , @MatthewMcCormick - the issue is outside of Scoutbook but since you missed that notice and the banner notice… no need to keep repeating the issue

Seeing as how it’s affecting Scouting families I would expect that it’s an issue that BSA takes ownership of and contacts affected service providers to address. This should be a trivial resolution.

Thanks. The banner only shows up if I have to scroll all the way to the top.

@MatthewMcCormick - if knly it was trivial and simple. Unfortunately many have reported the scoutbook emails and notifications as spam.

The issue is it is not the BSA System - it is several email systems and Blacklists that BSA IT does not have direct access to - so they will not KNOW when it is cleared, well until it is cleared. Many of these are from users who complained of getting to many emails from their current or past units it seems.

Because calling Microsoft and Apple to get off their spam list would be so easy.

Yes. The one called change log.
