Please merge account profiles

@PetePeal there is no Merging MIDs - they can be managed under my.scouting.org > Manage Member ID - I have done that for you and fixed Scoutbook
I recommend that you contact your local council and ask them to use the Registrar Tools to look up your children. When they look up your children, they want to check your children’s “User Relationship” and make sure that your children are connected to you as parent with Only your correct BSA member ID number - 12954272 - right now they are listed under the other number

I have two adult Scoutbook ID’s I need merged for the same person. A second was created for some reason during the last recharter. They are:

9315432
6509075

@RustyPoeppelmeier that is cleaned up

140186075 parent

Thanks!

Recently I multipled into a 2nd council and Scoutbook worked normal with Scoutbook userid 667194. Now if my NCAC ID 140279071 is primary, Scoutbook works as normal. But if my GTBAC ID 12364803 is primary, Scoutbook shows userid 13163299 with no data and only the GTBAC CSP showing.

I don’t need the empty Scoutbook userid, please remove and unify on the shorter 667194. Thank you.

We have a adult that is multiple registered with another council as camp staff. She no longer has access to her grand daughters profile or her crew in Scoutbook, but can see her profile and the unit. She has confirmed with the Cubmaster that she has full access to the grand daughter. She does not have two councils or id’s listed under her manage member ID in my.scouting. Her Scoutbook has our council patch, but the ID number from the other council. When I went into my.bsa, I see two ID’s but the second one listed is not the one from the other council. Our ID for her is 10387818. The second ID showing on my.bsa is 14798010 and the ID number from the other council is 13159762. We need our ID to be primary so that she has access to the crew and her grand daughter to enter in advancements.

She needs to add the one that isn’t listed.

@RhondaRigney

MID 13159762 belongs to a different person.

I have merged her Scoutbook accounts, put MID 10387818 in Scoutbook and added MID 14798010 as secondary to her my.scouting.org ID.

Thanks so much for your help. I really appreciate it.

Following up on this please - I am still facing an issue where it created a blank Scoutbook userid 13163299 whenever my GTBAC BSA ID 12364803 is set as primary in my.scouting. My original Scoutbook userid 667194 (originally associated with my GTBAC ID) works across both councils when my NCAC BSA ID 140279071 is set as primary in my.scouting.

@KimFelix

This is the way the system works. Because SB only supports a single MID, if you log in with your primary MID set to a value not on your SB account, a new account will be generated.

You have 2 options:

  1. Always log in to SB using your NCAC MID as primary which is on your SB account.
  2. Have 2 SB accounts, one for each Council.

@MarkHolley does this user know their my.scouting.org login? Knothead### if so I will merge it to that

Hi,

I believe they both have the same log in info, and email address attached. Does that help?

they do not have the same login - I would not have needed to ask @MarkHolley

OK,

He has log in access to 13088286 on my.scouting.org.
